Settings

These are things you don’t need to download and can change in the stock Krita installation.

Tablet Settings (Pen Pressure)

This might not be necessary for everyone, but if unable to change in your computer’s settings, It’s very easy to change this in Krita’s Settings instead.

Pen pressure is more subjective, but you’ll want to do some tests and adjust the curve to somewhere that feels comfortable to you.

Display

Canvas Background

  1. Settings > Configure Krita > Display > Canvas Decorations > Canvas Border Color > #141414 or #2d2d2d

Canvas Input Settings

Input Profile

  1. Photoshop Compatible

Alt Invocation

  1. **Sample Foreground Color From Merged Image**

  2. Type: Mouse Button

  3. Alt + Left Button

  1. Pan Mode >>> Space + Left Button

Rotate Canvas

  1. Rotate Left > 4

  2. Reset Rotation > 5

  3. Rotate Right > 6

  4. Rotate Mode > R + None

Rotate Settings

Zoom

  1. Zoom Out > Mouse Wheel Down

  2. Zoom In > Mouse Wheel Up

  3. Zoom to 100% > 9

  4. Fit To View > 0

Color Selector Settings

  1. Advanced Color Selector

  2. HSV

  3. Shade Selector > Gradiant

Separate Brush and Eraser (3 Slots Plugin)

How To Install

  1. Download the Plugin

  2. Tools > Scripts > Import Python Plugin From File,

  3. find the .zip file and press OK.

  4. Restart Krita.

  • Eraser >>> Change to E

  • Brush 1 >>> Change to B

  2. Select deevad 23.01

2. Overview Docker
This is good to have to prevent getting cuaght up in the details

2. Settings > Dockers > Overview (Just make sure it’s checked)

2.1 Click this to flip the image left and right (good for catching mistakes)

2. Use to reset rotation of canvas
